Moving to Devyce? How to Port Your US Numbers
Last updated: August 11, 2026
If you are moving to Devyce and would like to keep your existing US phone numbers, you can transfer them to your Devyce account. This guide explains the information and steps required to complete the porting process.
What Is Number Porting?
Number porting is the process of transferring your existing phone number from your current provider to Devyce, allowing you to keep the same number when you move to our service.
What Information Do I Need?
Before submitting your porting request, you will need to obtain the following information from your current service provider for each number you want to port.
Account Number - The account number associated with your phone number. This may be different from the phone number itself.
Account PIN / Porting PIN - Some US providers require a PIN or transfer PIN to authorise the transfer of your number. Please check with your current provider to confirm whether one is required and which PIN should be used for porting.
Registered Name and Address - The name and service address registered against the number with your current provider.
Latest Invoice - From your current service provider, dated within the last 30 days.
Important: The name and address provided must match your current provider's records. Incorrect information is one of the most common reasons for a port request being rejected.
How Long Does It Take?
US porting times can vary depending on the carrier, number type and whether all the required information is correct.
As a general guide, standard US ports can take approximately 3–7 working days once all required information has been received.
Some requests may take longer, particularly if additional information is required or the request is rejected by the current provider.
SMS Functionality
Do you require SMS functionality for any of your US numbers?
If yes, please follow the 10DLC registration process to enable SMS.
Ready to Port Your Number?
Once you have gathered the above information, use it to complete the USA Porting Form and USA LOA Form, then send the completed forms back to us so we can proceed with your request.
