Connecting Your Devyce Number to WhatsApp Business

Using your Devyce number with WhatsApp Business allows customers and contacts to message your work number while keeping your personal number separate.

Connect Your Devyce Number to WhatsApp Business

Step 1: Download WhatsApp Business

Download the WhatsApp Business app from either:

  • Apple App Store (iPhone)

  • Google Play Store (Android)

Note: Make sure you download WhatsApp Business, not the standard WhatsApp application.

Step 2: Register Your Devyce Number

Open WhatsApp Business and follow the setup process. When prompted for a phone number:

  • Enter your Devyce work number

  • Select the correct country code

  • Continue to verification

Step 3: Verify Your Number

WhatsApp will send a verification code to your Devyce number. Open the Devyce app and retrieve the SMS containing the verification code. Enter the code into WhatsApp Business when prompted.

Step 4: Complete Setup

Once verified:

  • Your Devyce number will be connected to WhatsApp Business.

  • Complete your business profile by adding your name, logo, business description and opening hours (optional).

Using WhatsApp Business on Your Computer

You can also use WhatsApp Business from your desktop for easier messaging throughout the day.

Option 1 – WhatsApp Web

  1. Open your browser and visit https://web.whatsapp.com

  2. Open WhatsApp Business on your phone.

  3. Tap Settings (iPhone) or the three dots (Android).

  4. Select Linked Devices.

  5. Tap Link a Device.

  6. Scan the QR code displayed on your computer.

Your conversations will now sync to your desktop.

Option 2 – WhatsApp Desktop App

  1. Download the WhatsApp desktop application for Windows or Mac.

  2. Open the application.

  3. Scan the QR code using the Linked Devices feature within WhatsApp Business on your phone.

  4. Your chats will synchronise automatically.

Add a WhatsApp Chat Link to Your Email Signature

Adding a WhatsApp link allows anyone receiving your emails to start a conversation with a single click.

Use the following format:

https://wa.me/<yourphonenumber>

Replace <yourphonenumber> with your full Devyce number in international format:

  • No spaces

  • No brackets

  • No leading zero

  • No plus (+) symbol

Example

If your Devyce number is:

+44 7700 900123

Your WhatsApp link would be:

https://wa.me/447700900123

You can then add text such as Message me on WhatsApp or Chat with me on WhatsApp and hyperlink this text using your WhatsApp link.

You can also use your WhatsApp link in:

  • Email signatures

  • LinkedIn profile

  • Website contact pages

  • Calendly booking confirmations

  • Marketing emails

  • Digital business cards

  • QR codes

  • Social media profiles

Anyone clicking the link will be taken directly to a WhatsApp conversation with your Devyce work number, making it quick and easy for them to get in touch.
